On May 30, 2024, our CEO, John Olisa, attended the ABUJA REAL ESTATE FIRESIDE CHAT, organized by 50 REIN. The theme was 'TRUST REDEFINED'.
It was a gathering of different players in the real estate sector, from property developers, realtors to lawyers and surveyors, among others. It was an avenue to share tips for success in real estate, and pitfalls to also avoid.
He contributed to the discussion by asking a question on the commercial viability of mass housing in Nigeria. The response he got was that when done on a large scale, mass housing could still be commercially viable, inspite of the constraints posed by the high cost of acquiring land.
The company looks forward to attending other fora for conversations on how to succeed in the real estate sector and solve the housing deficit of 28 units in Nigeria.
2nd Leadership Seminar
African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development
In commemoration of the 2024 Democracy, yesterday, June 12, 2024, our CEO, John Olisa, attended the 2nd Leadership Seminar of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development with the theme 'Leadership with Purpose: Navigating Challenges, Inspiring Change'. It was organized by the Alumni Association.
The Keynote Speaker, Dr. Linus Okorie, MFR- Leadership Development Consultant, CEO, GOTNI Leadership Centre, spoke on the topic 'Adaptive Leadership: 21st Century Leadership for Transformational Change ".
He stated some of the demands on leaders one of which is continuous learning. Nations that have made great progress in the world are those that have invested so much in their learning system. Thinking is another demand on leaders. Through thinking, they can come up with solutions to national issues.
Envisioning as well as Planning and Execution are further demands placed on leaders. The Seminar provided a platform for our CEO to increase his overall knowledge on leadership. Our CEO also had the honor of swearing in the new executives of the Alumni Association.
Our CEO commends the Centre under the leadership of Dr. Otive Igbuzor Founding Executive Director, Alaba Adekunle, President, Outgone President of the Alumni Association, as well as Amb. Raphael Obinna Amalaha, for successfully hosting the Leadership Seminar. He is of the view that we must keep on taking deliberate and conscious steps to train leaders to be the best in all sectors of the society.
